PREAMBLE
Realizing the importance of tapping the potentials of the Ghanaian youth, the need to create supportive platforms to challenge their creativity, and making available to the youth critical information and resources needed for their total development, we decided to establish a non-governmental and non-profit organization called YOUTH BRIDGE FOUNDATION.

GOAL
The goal of the Foundation is to promote the development of an environment that optimizes the potential of the Youth and to support them develop into responsible adulthood.

Where we encourage sterling initiatives and ownership by young people to provide ideas and practical solutions to foster development and growth

EMPATHY
Where we identify with the needs of the Society, particularly the Youth and resolve to be committed to their course

EQUITY
Where we respect equal opportunities and even resourcefulness for all regardless of gender, race, religious inclination, social class and ethnicity

PARTNERSHIP
Where we acknowledge and appreciate every effort and collective mobilization with a common goal


FOCAL AREAS FOR POSITIVE YOUTH DEVELOPMENT

Youth Bridge Foundation maintains that the life of the youth is not divided into neat compartments and that one of our identified areas affects the other in a variety of ways.

GOAL 1 - Living Environment

To foster the development of Communities and Families that provide youth with an environment conducive to their positive development and well-being.

GOAL 2 - Participation and Empowerment

To advocate for a culture that allows for the full participation of youth in the social, economic and political processes of the Society.

 GOAL 3 - Employment and Entrepreneurship

To promote the creation of opportunities for employment and an environment that promotes innovation and entrepreneurship.

GOAL 4 - Education and Training

To advocate for an education system that is relevant to the needs of youth, potential employers and global trends. Will also seek to identify, inform and help increase access to quality training opportunities in areas relevant to the global marketplace
